We've moved to FRANCE...
...but don't let that put you off. I'm just the other side of the Channel in Normandy.
I come to England every few weeks for a few days at a time. I can still visit you to look at your furniture to be able to give you an estimate. If you would like time think about it I can always come back and collect your furniture on another trip.
Don't worry, the prices haven't gone up. The cost of your restoration work is still the same value for money as before because of our reduced overheads, therefore, we can absorb the extra time and travel costs.
Concerned about Insurance? Don't be. I still have all the relevant workshop and goods in transit insurance that we always had. In fact I'm certain that our new location is lower risk.
So far all of our customers have been happy for their furniture to come to our workshops in Normandy.
Why France?
We decided to move to give us the opportunity of having our home and workshop together. It had always been our long term dream.
It means we can enjoy lunches together every day and I no longer have the daily commute of at least 50 miles. Our sons are loving having Daddy working from home.
We managed to buy a house with two barns and eight acres of land. My new workshop is seperate from the house and houses all my tools on the ground floor and upstairs there is storage room and another room to work in.
We have a large barn that we are going to be (gradually) converting into a large family home and then the house we are living in can be rented out as a gite as a second source of income.

Whereabouts in Normandy? We're about an hour and a half away from Cherbourg in a small village called Montbray. The two main towns nearest to us are Villedieu-les-Poeles and Vire. Our farm is situated on the side of a valley with views reaching for miles.
