Restoration Services
My restoration methods are traditional and are always in-keeping with the item. I am a skilled and qualified craftsmen with 21 years experience. Traditional restoration and conservation methods take years to learn, perfect and take time to carry out. Items can be with us for weeks or months depending on the complexity of the job.
Pricing
Estimates are given based on seeing the item in person. Unfortunately, I cannot price restoration work over the telephone, via email or from photographs as every item is individual.
Sometimes during the restoration process more work is discovered or becomes apparent. In this instance I would always contactl you to discuss what is involved and how much extra it would cost.
If you are making a claim through your home insurance I am happy to deal directly with them if you prefer.
Collection/delivery
Within Surrey, Sussex and London collection and delivery of your items is normally free. If I need to travel further a field we may make a charge, but we would always let you know beforehand.

These boxes that contain what look like scraps of wood are actually the components of the clock in the photo below. This is how it was supplied to me. Like a giant 3D jigsaw puzzle I lovingly restored it to how it had been in better days.

Georgian Corner Chair
I can help restore a 'DIY' repair job. As you can see from the photos (below) this Georgian chair had been broken for some time. It had also had its seat stuffing repadded with old curtains and other items.
I repaired the woodwork and then the chair was re-rushed, which is as it would have been originally.
