Gracing an estate of more than fifty acres in what was once the heart of Royal Windsor Forest in Surrey, Great Fosters is the most distinguished of hotels – a Grade One listed building blessed with the grandeur of 16th century England and luxurious modern facilities. Immaculately preserved, this stately historic monument also boasts a highly sought-after location, being near Heathrow airport, the M25 and M4, and also near Windsor, Wentworth and many of London’s leading attractions. Since it first opened its doors as a hotel in 1930, this magnificent residence has played host to royalty, film stars, emperors and literary icons. Today, welcoming guests for luxury short breaks, private dinners, meetings and celebrations, and acclaimed as a romantic wedding venue, Great Fosters remains one of England’s most celebrated historic hotels. . |
Since October 2005 I have been proud to carry out all the antique restoration services required for Great fosters Hotel in Egham, in Surrey after they discovered my passion for antiques via my website.
I have carried out traditional restoration and conservation on Jacobean Oak chests of drawers, Georgian commodes, Georgian Mahogany Pembroke tables, Walnut barley-twist cane chairs and many other items.
I provide the same level of high quality restoration for them whether I'm collecting many large items or one small Mahogany mirror.
In this magnificent Tythe Barn I spent two weeks on-site restoring the Oak panels.
For regular work like this, the service I provide is taylored to the clients needs, including fully detailed estimates, item receipt and delivery notes. Payments can be made by cheque or bank transfer in Sterling or Euros.
